How To Look At Art?

Admission: Free of charge. The workshop is restricted to a number of 20 participants. If you are interested, please register through Huodongxing by 8 May at 23:30. To register, it is required to fill in your name, phone number, WeChat account, email address, a one-sentence introduction of yourself and why you want to attend the workshop (100 words). The organizer will inform you about your registration result through Huodongxing before 10 May.

How do we look at art? Inspired by the Rosemarie Trockel exhibition, we will explore how art can activate our imagination and open itself to repeated interpretation. How can we let the work guide us to the questions it is posing? Art also directs our attention to perceive our daily surroundings in a different way. With short and playful exercises, we train our eyes to see more, both inside and outside the gallery. As such, the workshop wishes to inspire you to love art more and more.

This workshop is for everyone who enjoys art: no prior experience is necessary.
